

NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md, is only 30 minutes from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis. You are encouraged to use shuttle services provided from the Greenbelt Metro. Parking is available onsite at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.

Shuttles will transport visitors to and from Goddard Space Flight Center and Greenbelt Metro Station approximately every 10 minutes on Saturday, April 4 starting at 8:00 pm. The shuttles will pick-up from the bus loading area and will be marked with Yuri’s Night signage. After 12:00 a.m., shuttles will no longer pick up from the Greenbelt Metro, but will continue to drop off through 1:00 am. The last train leaves the Greenbelt Metro station at 2:30 am on Saturdays.

Satellite parking for Yuri’s Night is available at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Visitors will be directed to a satellite parking location after showing government issued ID at the security checkpoint off Icesat Road (see below for directions). Shuttles will take visitors directly to the visitor center. All shuttles will be clearly marked with Yuri’s Night signage and will transport visitors to and from the Visitor Center approximately every 10 minutes Saturday, April 4 starting at 8:00 pm. After 12:00 am, shuttles will no longer pick up from the parking lot, but will continue to drop off through 1 am.
From Washington, DC:
Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295) North to Greenbelt Road (Route 193). Take Greenbelt Road East for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto IceSat (formerly Soil Conservation) Road. Continue to the security checkpoint.
From Baltimore:
Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295) South. Take the exit to MD-193/Greenbelt/Goddard Space Flight Center. Turn left at Southway. Turn left onto Greenbelt Road and head towards NASA for about 1.8 miles. Turn left onto IceSat (formerly Soil Conservation) Road. Continue to the security checkpoint. |
